Formula 1 is gaining momentum again, even Lando Norris has already collected kilometres.

Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton will drive the 2018 car W09 at a private Mercedes test in Silverstone next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Bottas will drive on Tuesday and Hamilton on Wednesday.

The aim of the test is for the team to rehearse the normal procedures during the upcoming European races and to familiarise themselves with the hygiene regulations for the Formula 1 restart. The test also gives the drivers the opportunity to feel the full power of a Formula 1 car for the first time since the Barcelona test.

McLaren driver Lando Norris started a little bit smaller this week: The Englishman drove his old Formula 3 racer of the Carlin Racing team, with which he won the Formula 3 championship.
