There are increasing signs that after the ghost race in Bahrain, the Formula 1 teams will have a four week break: The Vietnam Grand Prix is to be "postponed".
Although no final and official decision has yet been made about the fate of Vietnam, a source close to the Grand Prix officials told the British magazine MotorsportWeek.com that the postponement of the race will be announced in due course if the current Corona situation does not improve quickly.
It is already certain that Italian citizens will have to go into a 14-day quarantine upon arrival on site. In addition, eleven countries (including Germany and Great Britain) now require a visa, but visas are virtually impossible to obtain online.
Under such circumstances, the entry of Ferrari, AlphaTauri, tire manufacturer Pirelli and other Formula 1 officials would not be possible.
