The Bahrain Grand Prix will be held without spectators. The ticket sale was already stopped last week.
Due to the worldwide corona epidemic, the Royal House of Bahrain has decided that the Grand Prix will be held on 22 March 2020 as a “participant-only event”.
Formula 1 fans will therefore only be able to follow the race on TV or screen: International live coverage will continue to be available.
The Cologne broadcaster RTL had already announced that the first three races will be produced in the cathedral city and that no personnel will be sent to Australia, Bahrain and Vietnam.
